I just spent six days in NYC and Kiki came along. She spent quite a bit of time in the hotel room because I didn't want carry her around on the subway and through the crowded streets. We stayed on Times Square, right in the heart of things.
This is one view out of the hotel, looking toward the Hudson River.
And the streets outside at night.
But, of course, there was one outing where Kiki had to come along...
The American Girl store!
Two new kids were right at the entrance to greet us: Tenney and Logan, of course!
Logan was very popular. One little girl had hers already out of the box so we asked if we could take a photo.
The store was really busy, but we had fun looking around.
After visiting the store, we stopped to watch the ice skaters at Rockefeller Center and then walked back to the hotel.
Melinda's last outing in the city was a very special one:
Outside the theater...
And the set before the show started.
Yep! She got to see Hamilton and it was all she had imagined and much, much more.
Wow! Your girls really get around! Good to see your travels!
ReplyDeleteJennie! It's great to hear from you. No travels to the south this year, but I did get to take this trip to NYC with some girl friends and had to bring Kiki along.
DeleteAhhh Hamilton! Beautiful pictures, looks like Kiki had a lovely adventure to NYC. Thanks for sharing the fun!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the lovely work!

Thank you! I'm glad to be back to blogging with Kiki.
DeleteI love NYC! I took a mini doll there way back in 2008. I also visited the NY AG doll store. It's not as big as the LA one! I'd love to go back one day.
